A collection of The People, for artist Maria...the majority of these photos were taken with permission at a Pow Wow, during a celebration dance, photography was encouraged, but only for this dance. The ceremonial dances, as always are personal, private, spiritual, I consider an invasion of privacy, and sacredness, not to be intruded on with a camera. Those who wished to participate in THIS dance, were a joy to photograph, and I respect the wishes of those who desired to remain out of camera view, by not participating. I wish to thank The People for the opportunity granted to photographers for this beautiful dance~the nuance is not lost on me. Aho.
